Projection Mapping for Chanel Cruise

Chanel at Paramount Studios: Essay Video put together massive projection and LED’s for the Chanel takeover at Paramount Studios, a star-studded cruise-themed runway show.

The projection wall was 190’ x 58’ with multiple obstacles in the way, including a lighting tower in the middle of the screen that posed major projection problems to overcome.

Essay Video used a total of six Barco 4K40 projectors in two triple stacks. Using six projectors meant that each of the images were overlapped and blended to create a seamless image.  The end result is a vividly bright single screen, almost 120,000 lumens on the screen. In addition, Essay Video provided the the two LED Scoreboards which showed live video as well as a scrolling banner and clock with a live updated scoreboard.

The evening was filled with excitement, with esteemed guests including Margot Robbie, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Kristen Stewart, as well as an electrifying performance by Snoop Dogg. Adding to the festive atmosphere were delightful food trucks and roller skaters, resulting in a fun and casual atmosphere.
